Weekend Story: Fun with the Gang (a.k.a. Family)

Last weekend was all about the gang, also known as my family. I always have fun with them around, especially Mame who is effortlessly funny. Clichรฉ as it sounds but I look forward to spending time with my family, no matter how short that time is. Our family is far from perfect, but we work things out and the love is always there. I’m also glad that the hubby gets along with them, sometimes even better than I do. Haha.

Movie and dinner date with Mame and my brother on Friday night.

Biked with the hubby at Mall of Asia on Saturday morning.

Engaged in some kulitan with my parents and siblings at their place while waiting for the hubby to finish his classes on Saturday afternoon. No photos because wala pa kaming ligo lahat, hahaha.

Heard the anticipated mass with the hubby at the National Shrine of St. Michael and the Archangels (it has recently gone through a makeover!) before driving home in Bacoor with Mame and my two siblings (Jodie and Dan) on Saturday night with a stop-over at S&R Aseana-Baclaran for dinner.

Failed attempt to go to Tagaytay on Sunday morning because Jodie suddenly had an upset stomach and slight fever which went away after taking an Advil tablet. Spent the rest of the day cleaning, eating, watching TV, chatting, and going online.

We drove back to Manila early morning of Monday when traffic was still very light along Coastal Road and Roxas Blvd. This has been our trip schedule of choice when going back to Manila ever since we started going home in Bacoor during weekends. Hassle-free trips are love!

Thank God for weekends with family! Where were you and what did you do last weekend, friends? ๐Ÿ™‚

May you choose happiness always,
