More Good Vibes = More Blessings

I was having a conversation with my officemate the other day and suddenly she brought up the topic of good vibes and how they seem to attract blessings. I couldn’t agree more. We went on to sharing personal experiences on how good vibes have helped us gravitate towards blessings, one after another.

Good vibes start with good thoughts. Having good vibes promotes positivity and lightness. Have you noticed when people who have a good emotional state or exude a positive aura are together, the atmosphere around them seems to be brighter and they tend to be more productive and inspired in what they do, both individually and collectively?

On Having a Small Space

Given our financial capacity at present, I think it’s only appropriate that we bought a tiny house. The mortgage payments are lower and the insurance premiums are smaller as compared to those of a big property.

I love having a tiny house. It’s easy to clean and easy to maintain. If something gets broken, we could easily have it repaired or replaced. Like when we had our built-in cabinet organizer updated, we didn’t spend much because it’s just a small one, too.

A Good News and Some Happy Thoughts

Remember the last graduate in our family? She eventually landed a job at a bank and has recently been regularized. She was ecstatic while telling us the good news. We’re just so happy for her (and we can’t wait for her blowout)! Haha.

It feels good that all my three siblings are now working and making money. It feels good, too, that they’re now all stable in their respective jobs. Our parents must be very happy right now knowing that all their children are now earning a living and trying to be responsible members of society.

Shopping Fast: October Report

Note: I started my self-imposed shopping ban on January 1, 2014. I made it official online through this post, and called it a “shopping fast.” I also shared there the reasons why I took the challenge and laid down some rules to guide me while on it.

I love you, November! I’ve been waiting for you since January. Good thing you’re here now. It just means I’m on the verge of finishing this challenge. Just a few more weeks to go! But before I revel in the thought of a successful 11-month long shopping fast (ehem), let me report on how October, my birth month, went.

I want to be a flexitarian.

A semi-vegetarian or flexitarian diet is described on Wikipedia as “one that is plant-based with the occasional inclusion of meat products. Lately, I’ve been thinking of adopting this kind of diet primarily for my weight loss efforts. I wouldn’t mind reaping its health benefits in the long run, too.

The last time I checked my weight (just this morning!), it was 126 lbs. I’m 5’4″ tall and wear a size M, sometimes L. My weight usually goes up to 130 lbs. during weekends (when I tend to overeat!) and go back to 124 lbs. during weekdays when I get to control my appetite (most of the time, ehem). That’s been the case for me in the past months and somehow, I’m a bit disappointed with the results of my weight loss efforts so I’m thinking, maybe this flexitarian diet could work on me. Haha.

On Keeping a Routine

Do you follow a certain routine? I do. And I just realized having one has helped me become more productive and organized over the years. But it doesn’t mean I don’t get lazy sometimes because I do. More often than not, though, I get to do my tasks and finished most of them even ahead of time. I used to do a lot of cramming during my college days but I’m a changed woman now. Or so I believe. Haha.

I have a certain routine that I follow during weekdays, which involves many tasks from my current job. I also have a different routine on weekends when I’m a wife more than anything else. Anyway, below are what I think are the benefits of keeping a routine:
